Zak-youth
Greetings Friend,

It is in the warmth of the orange Zante sun splashed across the blue hued crystal waters of Navagio that we extend a very warm welcome to you!

"Zak Youth" was established in 2004 as a means for young Zakynthians, Greek youth and all their friends to share and celebrate their unique heritage. All too often, it seemed that as Zakynthian youth, whilst we had opportunities to meet, the settings were never quite aligned with who we were as individuals. We feel young and free and of the "new generation".
Accordingly , we require the means to meet in full recognition of this liberty which is often at odds with that of more traditional bygone eras.

And so here we are! A handful of young Zakythians, based in Sydney who aim to bring together all Young Zakynthians, Greek Youth generally and all our respective friends and associates , in an upbeat synergy of youthfulness to cherish our rich unique heritage, to feel and express our Greekness, and to savour the good company of each other and all of our
friends in settings and groupings of a Hellenic flavour.

Whilst "Zak Youth" has no "official" age bracket it is recognised that Zakynthian youth are those of us of Zakynthian descent whom by way of either mindset, circumstance, belief or way of life , or even within themselves ; feel somewhat distinguished on the grounds of being the "next generation". That is, those of us who feel that they are the stewards in waiting of the continuum of Zakythian culture in Australia established by the ground work of those
before us.

Whether your interest is in the familiarity of a Zakynthian face and surroundings, the spinning
enthrall of the disco ball, or the unmatched aroma and taste of our lemon tinged oregano sprinkled souvlaki, we are dedicated toward enriching your life through the joy that is the Zakynthian experience.

This Web site is your portal into the world of Zakynthian youth, and by extension, Greek Youth that we are attempting to bring together across Sydney, and indeed, around the World. We hope that by your participation, suggestions, and support , we may
enthusiastically unite in special events throughout the year to enjoy a unique blend of youthful energy that empowers us not only in the love of our families,
but by extension, our friendships , work relationships and opportunities to meet people that are a special part of our journey in life, in whatever dimension
that may be important to each one of us.

We hope you enjoy our website, and hope to see you Soon
